Ezekiel 25:17
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides
with the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he who in the name of charity and good will
shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness,
for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon those
with great vengeance and with furious anger
those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know that my name is the Lord
when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
エゼキエル書２５章１７節
心正しき者の歩む道は、
心悪しき者のよこしまな利己と暴虐によって行く手を阻まれる。
愛と善意の名において暗黒の谷で弱き者を導く者は幸いなり。
なぜなら、彼こそは真に兄弟を守り、迷い子達を救う羊飼いなり。
よって我は、怒りに満ちた懲罰と大いなる復讐をもって、
我が兄弟を毒し、滅ぼそうとする汝に制裁を下すのだ。
そして、我が汝に復讐する時、汝は我が主である事を知るだろう
